Coinbase’s Layer2 network Base has released a roadmap, stating that Base is preparing to launch its mainnet, with launch criteria including stable proof-of-testnet, successful Bedrock upgrade, and completion of internal review and external audit. Base also stated that there are no plans to issue network tokens. Additionally, after the mainnet’s genesis block is produced, the Genesis Window will be opened to allow developers to deploy applications on the Base mainnet. During this period, Base will focus specifically on developers and provide support.
