According to CoinDesk, the Uniswap Foundation has released a cross-chain bridge evaluation report, in which the largest decentralized exchange officially reviewed some of the core infrastructure that powers its governance process. The foundation hired a group of nine experts to analyze six cross-chain bridges, and after a comprehensive review involving code evaluation and direct interaction with cross-chain bridge teams, the committee approved Wormhole and Axelar for specific use cases in Uniswap’s protocol governance. Other cross-chain bridges, including LayerZero, Celer, deBridge, and Multichain, did not meet the foundation’s standards, and the report leaves the possibility of re-evaluating certain protocols after future updates.
