    2. Celo’s governance proposal for migrating to Ethereum L2 architecture initiates community voting

On July 25th, Celo’s governance proposal to migrate Celo to Ethereum L2 architecture has initiated community voting (Temperature Check). This governance proposal is a vote from the community to support Celo’s transition from an independent EVM-compatible Layer1 blockchain to Ethereum Layer2, and not a vote on the architecture or design for achieving Layer2 goals. In mid-July, the Celo development team, cLabs, initiated a new proposal to propose the migration of Celo from an independent EVM-compatible Layer1 blockchain to Ethereum Layer2, utilizing OP Stack as the architecture for Ethereum L2. This will be a technical upgrade with key features including a decentralized sequencer driven by existing Celo validators using Byzantine fault-tolerant consensus mechanism; an off-chain data availability layer supported by EigenLayer and EigenDA, operated by Ethereum node operators and protected by re-collateralizing ETH, enabling Celo to maintain low fees; and retaining Celo’s design that only requires 1 block confirmation.

According to official news, the community developers of TRON, the blockchain platform, have initiated a proposal to enable the TVM PUSH0 instruction. It is understood that TRON released the latest version of its mainnet upgrade, GreatVoyage-v4.7.2 (Periander), earlier this month. In the latest version, TRON introduced multiple governance proposals and key updates.
