Web3 short video platform Cheelee has completed a $10 million financing round, with VC SILA participating (in the form of future token protocol SAFT). The new funding will be used to accelerate the development and marketing of its vertical video social networking applications. With the $22.75 million raised in 2022, Cheelee has now attracted a total of $32.75 million.
Cheelee aims to drive Web3 and cryptocurrency adoption through the gaming community, allowing users to test GameFi short video platforms, get free NFT glasses, and earn money by watching and creating content. One of the main innovations implemented by Cheelee is the ability to purchase NFTs with fiat currency, which was launched in May. There is currently no corresponding product for this feature, which allows non-blockchain-savvy viewers to use Cheelee’s NFT glasses.
